Alexandros Stoltidis has a Bachelor’s and Integrated Master’s degree graduate and a Ph.D. cotutelle candidate at the University of Thessaly in Volos, Greece, and Sorbonne University in Paris, France. I embarked on this undergraduate educational journey in 2018 and completed it in the Fall of 2023. My passion for further academic development led me to pursue higher education at the same institution and continue my educational journey by enrolling in both the Master’s and the Ph.D. programs. While my Master’s program is confined within the University of Thessaly, my Ph.D. is being conducted under a cotutelle agreement between the University of Thessaly and Sorbonne University. In addition to my academic pursuits, I hold a position as a dedicated researcher at the Network Implementation Testbed Laboratory (NITlab) in Volos, Greece. My specialized area of expertise lies in experimentally driven research, where I utilize testbed platforms to verify and evaluate the performance of next-generation telecommunication systems. My research efforts are currently centered around Blockchain, along with its intersection with the 5G and Beyond cellular networks. Currently, I investigate optimizations focusing on incorporating artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques with Blockchain in 5G and Beyond cellular networks, advancing cutting-edge technologies in the field.
Finally, I possess exceptional programming skills and expertise in operating and distributed systems alongside
network engineering, bolstered by his rigorous coursework and outstanding standalone projects.
