Antonis Kalkanov received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Computer Networks & Telecommunications Engineering Department of the University of Th. in 2014 and 2018 respectively. For the last 10 years he has been working at the Telecommunications & Networks Laboratory of the University of Th. (NITLAB) first as a researcher and then as a senior software engineer and project manager. He specializes in Web Services, Edge IoT, Systems Software Architecture, Video Coding, Database Architecture with practical applications in projects related to Precision Agriculture, Supply Chain Management (SCM), E-commerce and Network Security.
