Panagiotis Demelis graduated from University of Portsmouth UK in Electronic Engineering, at the year 2002. He received his M.Sc degree in Power Electronics and Control Systems at 2004 from University of Bradford UK. He finished his military service, as a reserved officer in the Hellenic Army in the year 2006. Since then, he worked as a freelancer, at the field of Power Electronics and especially at devices for autonomous solar photovoltaic power systems. His work was at thorough study, design, build of DC-AC power inverters, solar chargers and robotic solar truckers. He is currently an embedded systems Engineer and researcher for IoT at NITLab. He is responsible on the design, build and deployment of gateways and nodes for smart Agriculture. His area of interest, extends also to Robotic Agriculture and implementation of edge computing(embedded AI, Signal Processing, etc) on either single board computers, FPGAs or simple micro-controllers.
